Koblenz International Guitar Festival & Academy

This classical guitar event, now known as the Rhine Guitar Festival & Academy, takes place on the campus of the Landesmusikakademie Rheinland Pfalz in Engers near Koblenz, including at Schloss Engers. With more than thirty editions behind it, it brings together guitarists from around the world for concerts, masterclasses, workshops and a competition, topped off with a lifetime achievement award. It pairs high level performances with an intensive educational program built around the classical guitar.
