Ballet Stars in Jūrmala

This international ballet festival brings foreign and Latvian star dancers to Jūrmala each summer, performing in the small hall of the Dzintari Concert Hall in the Baltic Sea resort town. Founded under the artistic direction of Aivars Leimanis, it is now in its twenty fifth edition, combining classical repertoire highlights with contemporary choreographic works rarely staged elsewhere.
