About
Founded in 1981 as a counterpoint to Bath's more classical, perceived-as-elitist music festival, the Bath Fringe Festival is one of the oldest fringe festivals still running in England. Over roughly two weeks each spring, the city hosts around 200 events spanning every art form, with music sitting alongside theatre, dance and visual arts. The festival keeps an open, eclectic spirit with no fixed programming line.
