Dakhla Festival

The Dakhla festival, in southern Morocco, takes place by the town's lagoon, famed for its ideal kitesurfing and windsurfing conditions. Its music strand, the Festival Mer et Désert, offers around four days of concerts spanning a range of genres, while the town also hosts sporting competitions such as the Dakhla Kiteboarding World Cup, creating an atmosphere that blends water sports, music and desert nightlife.
