Dragačevski sabor trubača

This gathering of brass orchestras has taken place since 1961 in the village of Guča, in the Dragačevo region, where it began in the yard of the local church. Admission is free, and the competitions pit brass bands, many self-taught by ear, against each other in categories such as best orchestra or the audience-voted golden trumpet. Musicians also perform in the streets, where crowds dance the kolo.
