About
Edinburgh's Hogmanay is Scotland's grand New Year celebration, officially organised around Princes Street in the city centre since 1993. It runs over several days around New Year's Eve, featuring a torchlight procession, open-air concerts, a huge street party and a midnight fireworks display over Edinburgh Castle. Rooted in older street traditions around the Tron Kirk, the event draws visitors from around the world and has ranked among the largest New Year gatherings ever recorded.
