Encuentro Vallenato Femenino

Held every year in Valledupar since 2016 by the Fundación Decuplum, this gathering is devoted to vallenato performed by women, featuring accordion, singing and songwriting competitions. It takes place at the Parque de la Vida with free admission and aims to give women a place in a genre traditionally dominated by men. Also known by its acronym EVAFE, the event has become a launching pad and growth space for many vallenato artists.
