Festival d'art lyrique

Founded in 1948, this opera festival takes place every summer in Aix-en-Provence, using several venues across the city including the Grand Théâtre de Provence and the open air Théâtre de l'Archevêché. It presents opera productions, sometimes including world premieres, alongside symphonic and chamber music concerts, drawing tens of thousands of attendees each edition.
