Festival de Literatura del Norte (FeLiNo)

The Festival de Literatura del Norte (FeLiNo) was launched in Tijuana in 2002 to mark Book Day and the birthday of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, bringing together writers and cultural institutions from northwestern Mexico. Hosted at the Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT), it features workshops, book presentations, author-audience encounters and a program for younger readers called Felinito. After a long hiatus, the festival returned in 2025 for its seventeenth edition, themed around communities and borders.
