Festival de Rock de Concepción

Known as Festival REC (formerly Rock en Conce), this free event has been held annually in Concepción's Bicentennial Park since 2015. It is considered the largest free music festival in Chile and one of the biggest rock festivals in Latin America, alongside Rock al Parque. Concepción, nicknamed the "city of rock" and "cradle of Chilean rock," was designated a UNESCO Creative City of Music, and the festival draws tens of thousands of spectators for local and international acts.
