About
This folk festival takes place in Tafí del Valle, in Argentina's northwestern Tucumán province, amid the Calchaquí valleys. Dedicated to the zamba, a traditional Argentine dance and song form, it brings together dancing couples and performers from across the region for concerts and folk competitions. Held annually for more than fifty five editions, it has become a fixture of Tucumán's cultural calendar.
