About
Graspop Metal Meeting takes place each summer in Dessel, in the Campine region of Antwerp province, on a site turned into a fenced festival camp for the occasion. Born in 1996 out of a local family festival redirected toward hard rock and metal, it books multiple stages spanning classic heavy metal through death, black and metalcore. It ranks among Europe's largest gatherings of the genre.
