Jazz Festival Saalfelden

Founded in 1978 by local jazz enthusiasts, this festival takes place each summer in Saalfelden, at the foot of the Steinernes Meer massif in the Salzburg region of Austria. Its programming focuses on contemporary and improvised jazz, with concerts split between a main stage at the Congress Saalfelden and open-air stages set up on surrounding alpine pastures.
