Les Expressifs

Les Expressifs takes over downtown Poitiers each year, turning its streets and squares into an open-air stage. Started in 1996 as a street arts festival, it now brings together more than sixty shows spanning street theatre, circus, dance, contemporary music and digital arts, including two stages dedicated to live music. The event is entirely free and is linked through a twinning partnership with festivals in Northampton, England, and Marburg, Germany, which exchange bands each year.
