'MARVA KING' BrownstoneJAZZ FEST CONCERT SERIES

The BrownstoneJAZZ Fest Concert Series is hosted inside a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, central Brooklyn. It offers intimate acoustic-room concerts built around classic jazz, complete with a fish fry buffet, curated by Debbie McClain and emceed by bassist Eric Lemons. Singer and actress Marva King, known for touring with Prince and for a role in a Tyler Perry film, performed there backed by a jazz quartet.
