Midgardsblot

Founded in 2015, Midgardsblot takes place in Borre at the Midgard Viking Centre, on the largest Viking burial mound site in Northern Europe. It pairs extreme metal and folk music with a reconstructed Viking village, blot rituals, historical combat demonstrations, a craft market and workshops, drawing around 5,000 visitors a day in 2022.
