Nusicijada festival

Nušićijada takes place every year in Ivanjica, in southwestern Serbia, honoring the comic playwright Branislav Nušić. During the festival the town turns into a recreation of its old self, hosting concerts spanning classical, traditional, rock, blues and electronic music alongside theatre performances, costumed parades and film screenings. Founded in 1967 as 'September in Ivanjica' before taking its current name, it blends performing arts with community celebration in a playful, theatrical atmosphere.
