Opera Azuriales

Les Azuriales Opera is a summer opera festival founded in 1997 by London lawyer Sarah Holford and her husband. It takes place each year at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild on Cap Ferrat and at the Citadelle Saint-Elme in Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera. Built around a two-week Young Artist Programme, it combines a singing competition, public and private masterclasses, and an opera staged from scratch in a single week by emerging performers.
