Operadagen Rotterdam

Operadagen Rotterdam, now rebranded as O. Festival for Opera, Music, Theatre, is a Dutch festival devoted to contemporary opera and music theatre, born from a collaboration among several Rotterdam-based institutions. Over roughly ten days each spring, more than a hundred performances take over theatres and venues across the city, ranging from reworked classics to works in progress and world premieres by emerging and established artists alike. The festival stands out for pushing opera beyond its traditional forms.
