Prager Frühling

Founded in 1946 at the initiative of conductor Rafael Kubelík, Prague Spring is devoted to classical music and brings together orchestras, soloists and chamber ensembles in Prague's historic concert halls. Each edition opens on 12 May, the anniversary of Bedřich Smetana's death, with a performance of his symphonic cycle My Homeland.
