Renaissance festival Koprivnica

The Renesansni festival has been held in late August in Koprivnica, Croatia, for nearly two decades, bringing the Renaissance era back to life along the town's ramparts. Over a thousand costumed participants, knights, craftspeople and musicians stage jousts, sword fights and early music concerts, including works by Burgundian School composers. The festival is notable for its commitment to authenticity, banning plastic in favor of wooden and ceramic tableware.
