Sauti za Busara

Sauti za Busara (Swahili for 'sounds of wisdom') takes place in Stone Town, on the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, centred on the historic Old Fort. Regarded as East Africa's leading music festival, it brings together hundreds of artists mainly from the region but also from across the continent, with a particular focus on women and emerging young talent. Fringe events spill through the town, including a traditional street parade known as Beni.
