Schubertiada

The Schubertiade takes place in Schwarzenberg, in Austria's Vorarlberg region, at the Angelika Kaufmann Saal, sharing its programme with the town of Hohenems. Founded in 1976, it is devoted to Franz Schubert's lieder and chamber music, including lesser known vocal works rarely performed elsewhere. The village is also home to a museum dedicated to Schubert and to soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
