About

Second Summer is an independent music festival spread across roughly thirteen venues in Toronto's west end, founded by Brendan McCarney, a label manager at Paper Bag Records. Its inaugural edition, in September 2026, features over one hundred emerging artists from the Canadian indie rock, punk, folk and hip hop scenes, with a lineup co-curated by the band PUP.
