Southport Weekender Festival

Southport Weekender has stood since the 1990s as a landmark UK gathering for soul, funk, jazz and house music, now hosted at the Butlin's resort in Bognor Regis on England's south coast. Spread across several themed arenas, each dedicated to a different strand of the sound, it has featured artists such as Soul II Soul, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Kenny Dope. Born as a straightforward soul weekender, it has broadened its musical range over the decades while keeping its warm, community-driven feel.
