The Fest

The Fest has taken place each autumn in Gainesville, Florida, since it was founded in 2002 by Tony Weinbender, a figure from the local punk scene. The lineup centers on punk and independent rock with forays into pop punk and post hardcore, spread across a large number of bars and venues throughout downtown rather than a single site, with several hundred bands each edition.
