Whitefish Songwriter Festival

The Whitefish Songwriter Festival takes place across downtown Whitefish, Montana, where songwriters, many from Nashville, perform in intimate venues such as bars, restaurants, theaters and record stores with no barricades between artist and audience. The festival, which celebrates the craft of songwriting rather than performance alone, mixes well known hits with unreleased songs over several days. It also includes an educational component, with artists visiting local schools.
