Le festival
Créé en 2011 sur Governors Island avant de s'installer à Randall's Island puis à Flushing Meadows Corona Park dans le Queens, le Governors Ball rassemble rock, électro, hip-hop, indie et pop sur plusieurs scènes en plein air. Il est organisé par Founders Entertainment, société new-yorkaise également à l'origine du Meadows Music and Arts Festival.
