About
Launched in 2011 on Governors Island before relocating to Randall's Island and then to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, Governors Ball brings together rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie and pop acts across several outdoor stages. It is produced by Founders Entertainment, a New York based company that also runs The Meadows Music and Arts Festival.
