Le festival
Fondé en 1971 près de la ville de Roskilde, au Danemark, ce festival est organisé par une fondation à but non lucratif qui reverse ses bénéfices à des causes humanitaires et culturelles. Il rassemble chaque année environ 130 000 participants, bénévoles et artistes sur un site en plein air mêlant scènes de rock, pop et musiques électroniques.
