Présentation

Le festival

Le Waterfront Blues Fest se tient depuis 1988 dans le Tom McCall Waterfront Park, en bordure de la rivière Willamette à Portland. Fondé sous le nom de Rose City Blues Festival, il est resté gratuit sur donations pendant près de trente ans avant l'instauration d'une billetterie en 2016, et reverse une part de ses recettes à l'Oregon Food Bank. La programmation croise blues traditionnel et formes plus contemporaines.
