37° à l'ombre

The 37° à l'ombre festival, run by the association La Simplesse, presents classical and jazz concerts in exceptional heritage settings around Tours and Amboise, such as the Cloître de la Psalette at Tours cathedral or the Île d'Or in Amboise. Founded by harpist Adeline de Preissac, it unfolds over several weeks each summer, from late June to late July, through a series of dates led by the artist collective Les Audacieux. With modest ticket prices and free entry for children, the festival aims to make classical music and jazz accessible to a wide audience.
