6e continent

The 6e continent festival takes place in Lyon, mainly in the cosmopolitan Guillotière district straddling the 3rd and 7th arrondissements. Run by a local association, it spends two weeks presenting concerts, dance performances, storytelling and exhibitions celebrating world music and cultures, bringing together Lyon-based artists and visitors from elsewhere. Admission works on a pay-what-you-want basis, reflecting the festival's participatory, eco-conscious ethos.
