Afrikafestival Böblingen

The Afrika Festival Böblingen has been held on Elbenplatz in Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg, since 2017. Spread over three days, it presents bands from West Africa, Madagascar, Tanzania and Kenya, ranging from percussion and Malinké rhythms to Afro-Latin grooves and Afro-soul, with acts such as Gainde, SAMNAS and the Nina Ogot Band. The festival also features a bazaar of crafts, fashion and jewellery as well as African food.
