Afropolitan Vibes

Afropolitan Vibes is a concert series launched in 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria, by Ade Bantu and Abby Ogunsanya to showcase alternative music. Based for years at Freedom Park, a former British colonial prison, before relocating to Muri Okunola Park, each edition features three or four artists backed by the BANTU collective, ranging across Afrobeat, Afrofunk, Highlife and Afro-hip-hop. Every show is performed fully live, with no miming allowed.
