AgitÁgueda Art Festival

AgitÁgueda Art Festival brings the town of Águeda, in central Portugal, to life every July, running since 2006. The festival turns the streets into an open-air gallery for a full month, with daily concerts, urban art, street entertainment and craft stalls. Its visual signature is the Umbrella Sky Project, thousands of colourful umbrellas suspended over the town centre's streets, an image that has since been replicated in cities around the world.
