Alliances Urbaines

The Alliances Urbaines festival takes place in Bagneux, just south of Paris, where it was founded in 1998 by the town and local youth to celebrate hip-hop culture in all its forms. Spread over several days and venues around the town, including the Espace Léo Ferré, it brings together rap, dance and graffiti, pairing well-known hip-hop names with emerging artists from the southern Paris suburbs. The programme mixes concerts, breakdance battles, live graffiti and sports events.
