Almonte Celtfest

Almonte Celtfest takes place each summer in Gemmill Park and downtown Almonte, Ontario, in the Ottawa Valley. Founded in 1997 by local enthusiasts of Celtic heritage, this donation-based festival celebrates Celtic and Ottawa Valley music, song and dance, with pipe bands, impromptu ceilidhs and workshops in step dancing, fiddle and guitar. The event also features a Celtic market, Gaelic sports games and family activities, all in a warm, community-driven atmosphere.
