Since the late 1990s, Amphi Festival has brought together the gothic, EBM, synthpop and electro scenes on the banks of the Rhine, at Cologne's Tanzbrunnen. The open-air site, with its amphitheatre and several stages, has made it a reference point for this scene in Europe.
