Août Of Jazz

Août of Jazz is Capbreton's jazz festival in the Landes region, its name playing on the double meaning of August and being 'out.' Having previously been known as Festival des Contrebasses and then Fugue en Pays Jazz, it now offers summer concerts on the town hall square as well as at the Les Bourdaines cultural loft in Seignosse. The lineup mixes regional acts for daytime swing get-togethers with established and international artists in the evening, celebrating jazz's heritage and its ongoing evolution.
