Appelpop

Appelpop fills the Waalkade riverside promenade in Tiel every year on the second weekend of September. Long known for its free admission, the festival built its reputation on an accessible pop, rock and variety lineup that draws tens of thousands of visitors across generations. Since 2026, after more than thirty years as a free event, it charges a modest entrance fee, though children still get in without one.
