Ariano FolkFestival

Ariano FolkFestival has taken place every August in Ariano Irpino, in Campania, since it was founded in 1996 by the Red Sox association. Dedicated to world, folk and gypsy music, it has over the years hosted cult acts like Gogol Bordello as well as artists such as Goran Bregović and Vinicio Capossela. Concerts, camping (VolksCamp), local food and cultural activities come together on the hills of Irpinia, complemented since 2017 by a winter edition held each December.
