Overview
About
Asa Baako, meaning 'one dance', is held every March in Busua, a well-known beach village in southwestern Ghana about an hour from Takoradi. Over five days it offers live music, sound systems and open-air parties spanning genres from Afrobeats to Amapiano, Afro-house and Hip-Life, alongside activities like surfing, yoga, hiking and boat trips. Regarded as one of West Africa's most established music festivals, it runs on a beach-by-day, jungle-by-night atmosphere.
