Atlantic Music Expo

The Atlantic Music Expo is held each year in early April in central Praia, Cabo Verde, just ahead of the Kriol Jazz Festival. Rather than a public-facing festival, it is a music-industry gathering, combining conferences, networking sessions, a professional trade market and artist showcases that bring together delegates, artists and labels from Africa, Europe and the Americas. Editions have drawn several hundred delegates from dozens of countries, cementing Praia's role as a hub for Atlantic-facing music.
