Balarock Punkfest takes place in Bad Laasphe, at Schützenplatz, in the Rothaargebirge. The two-day open-air festival is dedicated to punk rock and the DIY scene, with a lineup ranging from small local bands to punk acts. It has hosted The Suicide Machines, The Iron Roses and Dorfterror.
