About
Balaton Sound took place in Zamárdi, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, with its main stage set directly facing the water. Founded in 2007 by the organising team behind the Sziget festival, it grew over the following decade into one of Europe's largest electronic music gatherings, with a lineup spanning house, techno, pop and hip hop.
