Ballyshannon Folk & Traditional Music Festival

Founded in 1978 following a fleadh cheoil held the previous year, this festival takes place in Ballyshannon, a town on the banks of the River Erne in County Donegal, often described as Ireland's oldest town. The programme combines concerts, traditional pub sessions and workshops, drawing musicians from the local area and across Ireland.
