Bartók Plusz Operafesztivál

Founded in 2000 in Miskolc, Hungary, this is the country's only opera festival and one of the world's leading events devoted to the work of Béla Bartók. Each summer it brings together opera companies from Central and Eastern Europe, pairing classic repertoire with contemporary, audience-friendly operas. Thanks to the festival, Miskolc has become an important opera hub in Central Europe.
