Basel Tattoo

Basel Tattoo takes place at the Kaserne, right in the center of Basel on the banks of the Rhine. Launched in 2006 by the local Top Secret Drum Corps and now Switzerland's official military tattoo, it brings together military bands and display teams from around the world over several days, with bagpipes, wind instruments and drum choreography. Modeled on the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo, it has grown into the world's second largest event of its kind.
