My Friend brings together fans of progressive rock and metal in Barcelona each year, staged under a tent at Poble Espanyol, the architectural village that recreates building styles from across Spain's regions. Founded in 2014, the festival keeps its lineup compact, favoring established and emerging acts drawn to conceptual songwriting, with a shaded outdoor picnic area alongside the main stage.
